Linsanity has no place in the corporate boardroom — only on the hardwood.

Time Warner Cable and MSG Network have resolved the feud that caused over two million cable viewers in the Big Apple to be deprived of New York Knicks sensation Jeremy Lin, according to The New York Times.

The situation had become so intolerable that New York Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo personally intervened with James L. Dolan, executive chairman of Madison Square Garden, and Glenn Britt, CEO of Time Warner Cable. Eric T. Schneiderman, the state’s attorney general, also felt it necessary to urge a resolution. (Time Warner Cable was spun off in 2009 from Time Warner, TIME’s corporate parent.)

“I applaud both Mr. Dolan and Mr. Britt and their companies,” Cuomo said in a statement. “I thank them for being responsive to the needs of New Yorkers.”

Lin, the first Taiwanese-American player in NBA history, has dazzled fans worldwide over the last few weeks with his on-the-court heroics. He’s led the previously lackluster Knicks to a seven-game winning streak heading into Friday night’s game against the New Orleans Hornets.

MSG’s stock price rose 3% Friday on news that it had reached a deal with Time Warner Cable. The company’s shares have risen 11% since Lin’s first appearance as a Knick, on February 4th.
